Connection to the Education Foundation
As an educator, I believe schools are the heart of a community. When communities invest in future generations by supporting public education, it creates a sense of hope among students and positively influences economic mobility upward. By supporting education in Washington County, the foundation provides funds that expand programs for students and provides access to skills and competencies they will need to be successful in their chosen field of study. I am excited to part of an organization that promotes public education through community involvement and gives teachers the resources to enhance their instruction. We are creating our future generation of innovators and critical thinkers, and I am proud of the work we do to support education in Washington County!

Substitute Teacher for WCPS
Connection to the Education Foundation
I have deep roots in Washington County—attending local schools, as did my children, grandchildren, and now my great-grandson at Old Forge Elementary.
My passion for education extends beyond our community, having taken 10 mission trips to Honduras, where I witnessed firsthand how access to education transforms lives. Seeing programs and resources diminish in our schools over the years, I joined the Education Foundation to help bridge the gap.
The Foundation connects the community to support our students, ensuring every child receives the quality education they deserve. I’m proud to work alongside others who share this mission, building a brighter future together.
